As the new Orsett Heath Academy enters its fourth year and continues to grow, we are looking to recruit an ambitious and talented MFL Teacher to lead our MFL Department. We wish to appoint an exceptional individual who has the necessary drive, expertise and inspirational attributes to shape the work and future development of the department.

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and will be able to foster enthusiasm and enjoyment for French with a clear focus on student achievement. An ability to offer a second language will also be welcome.  Applicants will be determined to achieve the highest standards for the students that they teach. If you have energy and passion for your subject and would like to join a unique school with a dynamic and collaborative team, then we look forward to hearing from you.

Why Orsett Heath Academy?

Orsett Heath is a relatively new thriving mixed 11-16 comprehensive school. As a new school, we opened our doors to welcome our first pupils in 2020. Since then, the school has proved popular with parents and pupils and we are oversubscribed in all three current year groups. We have created a successful school that pupils and staff are incredibly proud of.

In the summer of 2024, we move into our new £37m school building adjacent to our current purpose-built accommodation at Thurrock Rugby Club. When full, the new building will have 1200 pupils and be amongst the largest in Thurrock. We are looking for highly motivated, talented and ambitious staff who share our inclusive ethos and who want to help us grow over the coming years.
