Achievements and Performance in the Past Year
The Trust now consists of three primary schools and two secondary schools following Marshalls Park Academy joining SWECET in April 2017 and Chadwell St Mary Primary School in September 2016.
All three established SWECET schools are graded Good or Outstanding by Ofsted with Marshalls Park currently graded RI but rapidly improving under SWECET sponsorship and Chadwell St .
|Phase||Ofsted Grade||Joined Swecet|
|William Edwards||Secondary||Outstanding||April 2015|
|Stifford Clays||Primary||Good||April 2015|
|Chadwell St Mary||Primary||Good||September 2016|
|Marshalls Park||Secondary||RI||April 2017|
The three primary schools all remain ‘Good’ schools following their most recent inspections and the expectation is that all three will achieve at least ‘Good’ judgements when next inspected. Achievement in all three primary schools remains in line with national average with the expectation that results will see further improvement in 2018.

William Edwards retained its Outstanding judgement from Ofsted following inspection in March this year. Marshalls Park is making positive progress towards a Good judgement at its next inspection and the DfE visit to the school in December confirmed that the schools trajectory is positive.
Academic performance at William Edwards in 2017 was the strongest in its history with the school outperforming all national benchmarks. The school remains significantly oversubscribed with 377 first place applications in 2017 for 250 places. At Marshalls Park performance was in line with expectations following significant curriculum change and the school is well placed for significant improvement in the 2018 performance tables. The school remains popular with parents and an application is with the DfE to expand to 240 pupil admission number (from 180).
