Admissions Consultation

In line with the statutory obligation that admissions consultations are carried out at least every seven years, we are consulting on admissions to all our schools for September 2025. The consultation will run from 9th November to 21st December 2023.

For all schools, with the exception of Marshalls Park Academy, there are no changes to the current arrangements.

For Marshalls Park Academy, we are consulting on the following changes:
The removal of admission arrangements for sixth form as this is not currently proceeding.
The introduction of a priority category for the children of SWECET staff in the event of the school being over-subscribed, in line with our other academies’ policies.

Responses to the consultation should be made in writing to [email protected], or sent in writing c/o William Edwards School, no later than midnight on 19th December. Your response should include your name, address and relationship to the school in order to be considered.

The admissions authority will meet to consider all responses after the closing date and the outcome of the consultation will be published on our website as soon as possible after the decision has been made.
