Governance and Compliance Manager

Pay Range: Grade D £26,675 - £32,160
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: 37 hours per week, 41 working weeks per year, though part-time applications will be considered
Contract Term: Permanent

We are pleased to be recruiting a Governance and Compliance Manager to our growing Multi Academy Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to join our central service team working with the Board of Trustees. The post holder will be an enthusiastic, organised, and self-motivated person who will lead on the strategic development of governance including the development and consistent implementation of policies and procedures across the Trust and wider compliance matters.

The successful candidate will have experience of:

  • writing reports at Board level
  • effective research skills and ability to keep abreast with relevant legislative changes and developments
  • working with autonomy over the management of your own workload, priorities and deadlines
  • ability to accurately capture and record discussion points, challenge decisions, and action points from meetings
  • good knowledge of effective IT administration systems including Management Information Systems and Microsoft packages
