As the new Orsett Heath Academy continues to grow, we are looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Assistant Headteacher to help us shape the school prior to the move into our new £30m school building in April 2023. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented middle leader who wishes to make the step up to senior leadership in a growing, dynamic and supportive school. This is a once in a career opportunity to help us establish a new school in its third year and beyond.

The successful candidate will be able to lead either our pupil tracking, data and timetabling work or our curriculum development work. The first of these roles will have responsibility for our data systems as well as for the school timetable. The second role will have responsibility for ensuring that our curriculum offer is exciting, effective and thoroughly embedded.

Applicants will be excellent classroom practitioners and have excellent subject knowledge. They will lead by example and be able to work in a highly collaborative environment. There will be a number of career development opportunities as the school grows. If you have energy and passion in abundance and would like to join a unique school with a dynamic and collaborative team, then we look forward to hearing from you.
